DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy
Last updated April 28, 2026
UHomes Realty respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, you can submit a notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and we will review it promptly.
What to include in a notice
To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).
- Identification of the material on the site you claim is infringing — enough detail (URL, screenshot, or description) for us to find it.
- Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Where to send it
Send DMCA notices to:
- hello@uhomesrealty.com(subject line: “DMCA Notice”)
- Phone
- (919) 559-6816
Email is fastest. Mail is acceptable but slower; ask us for the mailing address by email if you need it.
What happens next
When we receive a complete notice, we will review it and, if it looks valid on its face, remove or disable access to the identified material. We will make a reasonable effort to notify the person who posted the material so they can respond.
Counter-notice
If material you posted has been taken down and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where you live (or, if outside the U.S., the Eastern District of North Carolina) and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
Send counter-notices to the same address as DMCA notices.
Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate access for users who are repeat infringers.
A note on misuse
Filing a knowingly false DMCA notice can carry liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you are not sure whether your concern is a copyright issue, consider talking to a lawyer first.
